In the early 1970’s, Tommy Stevenson and some of his fellow soldiers in the National Guard started building pools in the summer to earn some extra money, and a spark was ignited. Tommy, now just known as “Papa”, started to learn everything there is to know about the pool servicing industry. In the early 1990’s he founded Tommy’s Pool Service and has lead the way in pool operations and has been second to none in client satisfaction.

In the early 2010’s, after getting out of the USMC, Scott Roberts started riding around with his new Papa, and another spark struck. Now the founder of American Waves, Scott is focused on carrying the same professional standards with the same family feel.
